Community Access Live Stream of Election Day – November 3, 2020

Shasta County Elections and the Shasta County Arts Council is pleased to announce the first ever live streaming of Shasta County’s election activities. This project is being produced and presented in cooperation with the Shasta County Arts Council and their Community Access Channel. Broadcast programming will include activities through election day and evening, such as polling place operations, Election Night results reporting and precinct supply return activities.

The public will be able to view a variety of pre-recorded and live Election Day and Night activities at points throughout the day. A list of live broadcast times and activities follows:

Opening of the polls – 7am

Check in with election officials at Election Office at 11am

Closing of the polls at 8pm

Local election results publication 8:30pm and continuing throughout the evening

After voting has ceased we will provide election results beginning at 8:30 pm and continuing throughout the evening at the top and bottom of each hour with an up to date focus on precinct supply and ballot returns from 9 pm-11 pm.


Besides Live Streaming from the Shasta County Election Office, informative pre-produced segments created by local students will be shared intermittently throughout the day.
