CURRENT SITUATION
• We had 26 new cases on Thursday. Twenty-five had symptoms and two are hospitalized. They are:
One girl under age 13
Three teenage girls and one teenage boy
Five women and one man in their 20s
Three women and three men in their 30s
Two women and one man in their 40s
One woman in her 50s
One woman and two men in their 60s
One woman in her 70s
One woman in her 80s
• We are sorry to have to report two deaths today. They are a woman in her 80s and a woman in her 60s.
• Our weekly livestreamed briefing was on hold this week due to the Zogg Fire. It will resume at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, as we anticipate that we will be moved into the red (“substantial”) tier of the state’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy late next week. We will have additional information to share about that, along with an update on our current efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
