On June 21st, 2020, the Redding Police Department was contacted by family members of Jered Ryan Stefansky (26 years of Redding), who wanted to report him as missing. Stefansky’s family reported he left Redding on June 19th, 2020 at approximately noon and began traveling to Carson City, Nevada, to conduct a business transaction. Stefansky never arrived at the transaction but it’s believed he did make it to the Carson City area. Since June 19th, 2020, friends and family have been unable to locate or contact Stefansky.
Stefansky is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with short black hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing dark grey shorts and a loose beige tank top. Stefansky left Redding driving a blue 2019 Nissan Versa bearing Washington license plate BNR0354.
Since first being reported, the Redding Police Department Investigations Division has been conducting followup and working with other law enforcement agencies in an attempt to locate Stefansky.
