Current Situation:

• Shasta County has 7 new positive cases. All had symptoms. A man in his 50s is hospitalized. The other patients, who are isolated at home, are a woman in her 40s, a man in his 30s, a woman in her 30s, two men in their 20s and a teenage boy.

• Please continue to practice healthy habits to help slow the spread of COVID-19:
o Put 6 feet of space between yourself and others
o Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds
o Wear a cloth face covering in public spaces
o Clean and then disinfect frequently used surfaces
o Stay home if you’re sick
o Avoid touching your face
