The Shasta County Board of Supervisors invites local schools to submit written descriptions of the creative ways they are celebrating their 2020 graduates. The Board recognizes the strength and perseverance demonstrated by Shasta County students, educators, and school administrators to overcome distinct challenges during this time.
With the permission of the schools, submissions will be featured on the Shasta County website. The Board Chair will present one Middle School and one High School with a “Super Graduation” plaque, as well as recognizing them at a meeting of the Board of Supervisors.
Submissions may be sent via email to clerkoftheboard@co.shasta.ca.us no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 15, 2020. Guidance on the information to be submitted can be found at www.co.shasta.ca.us/index/bos/super-graduations.
