On Monday, November 25, 2019, at approximately 0051 hours, Warren Flournoy reported his wife, Evelyn Flournoy, 92 years-old, as missing. Warren reported he and Evelyn went to bed on Sunday night at approximately 2200 hours at their residence on the 3900 block of La Mesa Avenue, Shasta Lake. When he woke up, he found Evelyn missing from their residence and immediately called the Sheriff’s Office for assistance.
Deputies responded to the Flournoy residence and contacted Warren. Warren described Evelyn as a white female, 92 years-old, 5 foot tall, 100 lbs, with grey hair and hazel eyes. Evelyn is possibly wearing a grey sweatshirt and sweatpants and carrying a purse. It is believed Evelyn left the residence on foot in an unknown direction. According to Warren, Evelyn also suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and becomes confused.
Deputies searched the immediate area surrounding the residence, checked with neighbors, and checked the roadways in the Shasta Lake City area. A local B.O.L.O. (Be On the Look Out) and Silver Alert was issued for Evelyn. Evelyn is considered at risk due to her age and mental health issues.
