Live Entertainment in the North State: September 11- September 17

Identity Crisis plays Kelly’s Pub and Wine Bar in Redding this Saturday.

After evacuating for the Mountain Fire, I decided it would be a good time to take a break from this column. That was a problem when I wanted to go see some friends playing around town over the last couple of weeks, because I had to wade through the interwebs to find out what was going on. So, the column is back, and I appreciate myself more. In fact, next time I’m in town, I think I’ll buy myself a beer. Enjoy, and thanks for supporting our local music scene.

Pleased to see you back Hal!

  2. I’m sorry you had to evacuate. I’m glad your home survived. Selfishly, I’m sorry for the break in your column during that scary time for you, and I”m very glad you’re back. Wednesdays just wouldn’t be Wednesdays without out.

I’ll have a beer in your honor, too. Thank you, Hal! You are so appreciated!

Hal – Sorry about the circumstance out your way. Know you have things to take care of, and certainly want you to do that first. But .. that live music calendar has a real impact on the area! And .. it’s the only thing out there! As a music lover, I’m really lost without it. I look forward to Wednesdays too!

Hal – Of course want you to take care of what you need to first, but … That live music calendar is such a service to the community. Seriously. And it’s the only thing out there! As a music lover, I’d be completely lost without it. I look forward to Wednesdays too.
