Northstate Women’s Health Network joins forces with Women’s Health Specialists for their 5th Annual International Women’s Day Celebration, featuring local performers, speakers and women-focused businesses, entrepreneurs and vendors.
This year, the keynote speaker is renowned feminist activist Dr. Loretta Ross, who has worked with the National Football League Players’ Association D.C. Rape Crisis Center, National Organization for Women (NOW), National Black Women’s Health Project, Center for Democratic Renewal (National Anti-Klan Network), National Center for Human Rights Education, and SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective. Dynamic and inspiring, Dr. Ross’s conversations spark the transformation of apathy, angst and anger into activism for social justice.
