There are 11 counties within District 1: Butte, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Tehama, Nevada, Glenn, and Placer. If you live in California’s District 1, you have one representative voice in Washington, D.C., Doug LaMalfa.
On Sun., Sept. 16, Representative LaMalfa and challenger Audrey Denney participated in the California District 1 Congressional Forum at Anderson High School in Anderson, Calif.
The event was organized, hosted and presented by The League of Women Voters of the Redding Area, a nonpartisan political organization. The forum was moderated by Susan Wilson.
