Live Music in the North State: August 29 – September 4

 

Still Married will host and perform for the premiere of "The Redding Song" video, and will preside over a local songwriter showcase as well. The event will happen at the Wild Card Brewing Company's Tied House in Redding this Thursday, August 30.

The last weeks of summer are upon us, and outdoor music events are starting to dwindle, but the organizers of the Sunset River Jam will keep the party going at Anderson River Park for a few more weeks.

Wednesday, August 29

The Sunset River Jam happens at the Anderson River Park with the Hill Street Band. The show starts at 6 p.m., ending at 9 p.m. All ages.

Live music happens every Wednesday (through early October) at the Weaverville Farmers’ Market in Lowden Park, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. All ages.

Open mic at Silk Road Chai Shop in Mount Shasta, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. All ages. (530) 926-3300.

Jimmy Limo plays Lily’s Restaurant in Mount Shasta on most Wednesdays, beginning at 6:30 p.m. All ages. (530) 926-3372.

In Paradise, the “Open Mikefull” group hosts an open mic at the Norton Buffalo Hall. Signups at 6:45 p.m. This open mic normally happens each Wednesday evening. All ages. Admission $2. 5704 Chapel Drive in Paradise.

Thursday, August 30
