Simpson University is open and ready to accept evacuees. The Red Cross reports that there is space for 160 people. There is food and water available for anyone who has been displaced as a result of the Carr fire. They have no need for water donations, however if people feel so inclined, Dr. Hall, Simpson University President, says they could use individually wrapped snacks (store bought
only), hygiene products, baby products, and toys and items for children.

Simpson University is not accepting pets at this time. Pets can be dropped off at Dignity Health Golden Umbrella at 200 Mercy Oaks Drive.
