    Those bags must be the retardant. Makes me wonder how they get it mixed up, into the plane and ready to go when there’s little time to waste. Nice pic, Joanne.

    Tanker 40 is actually a US Forest Service tanker, though both Calfire and USFS use each others’ tankers from the Redding Air Attack Base.
