Vehicle Sought in Hit and Run

On 6/2/2018, at 12:37 A.M., Shascom received multiple calls for service of a collision on Hartnell Avenue at Fairway Avenue. Witnesses reported a motor vehicle struck a pedestrian then fled the scene without stopping.  Redding Police Officers arrived within minutes and located a male subject in the roadway with major injuries. The male was identified as Justice Larsen, 44 years old from Redding. Justice Larsen is still hospitalized with injuries he sustained from the collision.

Officer’s conducted an extensive search of the area but did not locate the involved vehicle. According to the evidence left at the scene, we are looking for a 2015-2018 Buick Lacrosse silver in color (similar to the one pictured). The vehicle should have damage to the windshield and is missing a side view mirror.

A reward of $2,500 being offered by Shasta County Secret Witness to anyone with information leading to an arrest and/or conviction of the suspect.
