Shasta Master Gardeners will hold a Spring Gardening workshop on March 24th, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shasta College Farm, room 4000. Shasta Master Gardeners will be presenting University of California information and materials while leading participants in hands-on training. Attendees will be able to choose up to four (4) workshops from the following topics: Safe Pesticide Use, Composting with Worms, Soil Testing, How to Read a Soils Report, Raising Bees in the Backyard, Seed Starting, Pest Control with Biological Controls, How to Set Up Micro-irrigation System, and Using Bio-Char. Participants will receive handouts and other gardening supplies. An attendance fee of $5.00 will be collected at the door.
