On Monday, August 21, 2017, at approximately 2238 hours, a Deputy Coroner Investigator was dispatched to a fatal single vehicle traffic collision near the intersection of Ash Creek Road and Aoudad Road, Anderson, California. The decedent is believed to have been operating a motorcycle at the time of the collision and was transported to Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The decedent was identified as 55 year old David Joseph Waters of Cottonwood, California. The decedent’s next-of-kin was notified and a postmortem autopsy has been scheduled. The traffic collision is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
