The Shasta-Tehama-Trinity County Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is holding a public meeting this Saturday, May 20. The featured speaker will be Valerie Saidman, a photojournalist with many credits, including an assignment at Standing Rock.
“She has a stunning slide show and an incredible story,” says Don Yost, chairperson of the ACLU chapter which is based in Redding.
The event begins at 2 p.m. and is being held at the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2850 Foothill Blvd. in Redding. Admission is free.
