The Shasta College big band will be performing in the annual Fall Jazz concert on October 26, in the Shasta College Theater at 7:30 p.m. The Jazz Band, under the direction of Dan Neece, will play a variety of Jazz standards and dance tunes to include: Latin, Swing, and pop/rock favorites. Music Arrangements by Dizzie Gillespie, Thelonius Monk and Gordon Goodwin are just a few to be featured. The band will be featuring, and arrangement written by band member Paul Senn as well. This hour long concert will feature several soloist in the group playing a wide variety of big band favorites.
