Turtle Bay Exploration Park will hold it’s 9th Annual Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, September 24 at the Turtle Bay Nursery. Turtle Bay members are offered a Pre-Sale from 9 – 11 am and the public sale is 11 am – 3 pm. Members will receive a 30% discount on all nursery purchases and non-members will receive 20% off. Plus, admission to the Gardens is FREE all day.
Fall is the best time to plant most hardy perennial plants and shrubs in our area. Turtle Bay’s fall sale focuses on drought tolerant and some riparian perennial plants, including California natives, grasses, many unusual flowering plants, ground covers and shrubs. Free gardening advice will be available throughout the day from Arboretum and Botanical Gardens staff and volunteers.
