Shasta College Students Can Ride RABA for Free

RABA

The Redding Area Bus Authority (RABA) has partnered with Shasta College to provide free bus service for all current Shasta College students or staff and encourage all to utilize RABA to attend classes there.
The program is good for all of RABA’s urban fixed routes from Cottonwood to the City of Shasta Lake. The student must have a validated student Identification for the fall 2016 and/or spring 2017 semesters, and present the ID to the bus drivers for each trip. Students or staff with a valid ID will be eligible to use the entire RABA system, for any trip, at anytime RABA operates, for free. The free ride program does not extend to the Burney Bus Route.
RABA has recently expanded service to the college and has expanded service south to Cottonwood. The recent route changes and expansions for RABA have made the system quicker and easier to access key points throughout the system.
