Applications for Dignity Health Community Grants are now open to all agencies; especially those who serve the needs of the community in the areas of obesity, substance abuse, aging, welfare of children, and mental health. In the 2014 Community Health Assessment, these five areas were found to be the highest need within our community.

Dignity Health grant funds are used to deliver services to and improve health and well-being of underserved populations within our community, including children, women, mentally or physically disabled, minorities, and more. Dignity Health partners with community agencies through grants in order to support real and lasting change and to provide support within the community. By providing grants to agencies that also support access to jobs, housing, food, education, and health care, Dignity Health is able to work collaboratively to increase access to quality health care.

Applications are now available for one year grants worth up to $100,000, depending on your local hospital’s cap, and they must include a brief budget narrative in application for grant. The first step in applying for a grant is submitting a Letter of Intent (due July 29) and making sure your organization meets all criteria for the community grant application.
