On Wednesday, December 23, Turtle Bay Exploration Park is offering a single-day camp all about Water! In preparation for the future exhibition at the Park, Water’s Extreme Journey, Water Explorations single-day camp will give kids ages 8-12 a chance to discover the world of water through hands-on experiments and activities. Water is extremely important to our lives. We drink it, we swim in it, we wash with it, and things we eat need it too! Join Turtle Bay as they take a look at water’s properties, water’s journey from a drop in the ocean to the land and back, and some surprising ways we can test our water quality. Campers will also get a chance to experience Turtle Bay’s award-winning animal programs with aquatic and non-aquatic animals. By building on campers’ previous knowledge about water, Water Explorations will have your child talking about water long after the rains stop.
Water Explorations single-day camp will be held Wednesday, December 23 from 9am-4pm at Turtle Bay. It is open to children ages 8-12. Price is $35 for members and $45 for non-members. Pre-registration is required and deadline is December 21st. Minimum of 8 campers is required. For more information and to register, visit turtlebay.org.
