Heidi Hall to run for Supervisor in Nevada County

Heidi HallAfter much research, conversation, and exploration, Grass Valley resident, Heidi Hall has decided to run for Nevada County Supervisor (District 1), in the 2016 election.

Hall, who ran for Congress (District 1, LaMalfa), in 2014, has been strongly encouraged to run for Congress a second time, as well as for Nevada County Supervisor. Said Hall, “For me, the important thing is to do the greatest good, for the most people. Through the Congressional campaign, I learned a tremendous amount, met amazing people, and had a chance to see both the beauty and the challenges we share here in Northern California. Weighing everything very thoughtfully, I believe I can be most effective as a County Supervisor — where there’s a lot to do, and I have the experience and passion to get it done.”

For reasons of political propriety, Hall will no longer do her regular posts in The Union. “I’m really excited to be out there engaging with community in this way again,” said Hall. “The part of a campaign I love most is meeting people and sharing our vision, concerns, and hopes for our community.”

Hall’s campaign has formal kickoff event scheduled for early October, with invitations and announcements going out shortly.
