The Redding Police Department will begin the transition to our new location on the City Hall campus, 777 Cypress Avenue, beginning Thursday, July 23nd, 2015.
The Redding Police Customer Service lobby will be closed beginning Wednesday, July 22nd, 2015 at 5:00 PM. We will reopen on Monday, July 27th, 2015 at 8:00 AM in our new location in the west end of City Hall, the former Redding Electric Utility (REU) Customer Service.
On Friday, July 24rd, 2015 at 7:00 AM, phones will be transferred to our new location. There may be a brief period of interruption during the transition. 911 calls will continue to be answered by SHASCOM. In the event of a significant phone service interruption, customers may use the SHASCOM non-emergency number, 530.225.4564 until our phones are restored.
Patrol Operations will begin operating out of the new Robert P. Blankenship Police Facility building on Friday, July 23rd.
Our current location at 1313 California Street will continue to be utilized for several weeks as we transition to the new campus.
