The Shasta Regional Community Foundation reminds local students and nonprofits of the upcoming deadlines for grant and scholarship applications. With the new online application system in place for both programs, the Community Foundation will no longer be accepting paper applications. Information regarding the application process is available on our website at www.shastarcf.org/grants-scholarships.
The scholarship deadline is Thursday, March 5th at 5:30 p.m. A complete list of available scholarships and eligibility criteria is available on the website.
Grants from The McConnell Fund will be awarded in the spring to Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity county organizations in the areas of arts and culture, children, youth and education, community vitality, environment, health care, recreation, and social services. Grants primarily fund the purchase of equipment or building-related projects. Grant opportunities are made for small and large projects in each county. All grant requests for the spring cycle must be submitted online by 5:00 pm on March 4, 2015.
The Redding Rancheria Community Fund will be accepting applications for grant requests from Shasta and Trinity County nonprofit organizations and public entities in the areas of arts/culture, education, environment, health and social services. All grant requests for the spring cycle must be submitted online by 5:00 pm on March 25, 2015.
The Burney Regional Community Fund supports needs within the communities of the greater Burney area; Big Bend, Burney, Cassel, Fall River Mills, Hat Creek, McArthur, Montgomery Creek, Old Station and Round Mountain area. All grant requests for the spring cycle must be submitted online by 5:00 pm on March 4, 2015.
