From February 4th through March 12th, 2015, third grade students in Shasta County will have the opportunity to participate in the Museum Art Gallery Experience (MAGE) program at Turtle Bay Exploration Park. The 2015 MAGE program is generously sponsored by Jack and Kristen Schreder and Wells Fargo.
This unique experience allows students to enjoy a docent-led art gallery tour of the West Coast Biennial Juried Art Exhibition. The exhibition features work in many media from competing artists in California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Students also participate in a hands-on art project designed to foster creativity. All aspects of the tour and art project are aligned with the third grade Visual Arts Content Standards.
