UPDATE: Avoid The Five Sobriety Checkpoint Canceled

 

 

 

UPDATE: The Avoid the DUI checkpoint in Anderson scheduled for 12.17.14 has been canceled.

As a continuing effort to reduce DUI- related crimes, injuries, and deaths, the participating agencies will still be conducting random saturation patrols of the Shasta County roadways. The saturation patrols will have an emphasis on DUI related crimes and unlicensed drivers.

And Anderson Police Department would like to remind everyone to drive safe, report potential DUI drivers, and that “Buzzed driving is drunk driving.”

 

On Saturday, December 27, 2014, the Avoid the 5 DUI Task Force will be conducting a DUI/Driver’s License checkpoint in the City of Anderson. Additional details in regard to the exact location of the checkpoint will be released the day of the event. The Anderson Police Department would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and remind you “Buzzed driving is drunk driving.”
