Who has their head in the clouds so we, all, may be safer … the Federal Aviation Administration Safety Team. This group supports the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) continuing mission to provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world. They do this, in part, by sponsoring local seminar series that present aviation safety topics to private and commercial aviators. Pilots may receive continuing education credits for attending the seminars. These credits are beneficial for required pilot flight reviews and insurance certification.
The Redding FAAST team, led by William Hill, will be presenting their 100th consecutive seminar on October 11th. This is the longest running seminar series since the inception of FAAST. The group meets the second Saturday of each month in the main hanger at Benton Airpark in Redding. To register for seminars, go to www.faasafety.gov or contact William Hill at ATPBill@gmail.com for more information.
