This fall Shasta College will be offering a class on growing and landscaping California Native Plants. This is the prefect class for folks who want to replace and/or add to their landscape using more drought tolerant plants that will look good all year long. The class is called “Introduction to Native Plants”, AGEH 130. The class is 5-weeks and runs from 9/17/14 to 10/22/14 with one Saturday morning field trip on 9/27/14. Meeting times for the class are 6:00 to 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday nights. The class covers identification, propagation, care and use of California Native Plants in the landscape.
