On Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m., there will be an Asante African Bazaar at St. James Lutheran Church, 2500 Shasta View Drive, in Redding, featuring beautiful hand-crafted gift items including: baskets, jewelry, clothing, batiks, table clothes, carvings, purses, soap stone and hats. 
The Asante Network is committed to helping Women’s groups in East Africa by finding markets for their crafts.  All efforts are designed to provide dignity, hope and a better future for them.  Asante is a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation.  For more information contact Barbara Grosch at (530) 549-4872.
