Turtle Bay Exploration Park Launches Funding Families Program

The photos of more than 30 Redding families are now featured on a new wall of honor in Turtle Bay Museum, with the launch of the Funding Families of Turtle Bay giving program this week. The program honors families that have chosen to support Turtle Bay with annual giving totaling at least $1,000. The goal of the program is to provide Turtle Bay Exploration Park with general support so it can keep providing our community with a valuable cultural resource.

This new giving program makes it more accessible for families to support the museum, while also helping instill the value of philanthropy in future generations. To achieve the $1,000 per year donation level, families pledge contributions of less than $84 per month. The wall was unveiled at this week’s launch event (see attached pictures).

The Funding Families program was created by an all-volunteer committee of community members who value Turtle Bay for what the Park means to their own families. Organizers of the program include: Ryan and Alyssa Denham, George and Anik Domb, Michelle Nystrom and Jason Blake, Bruce and Michelle Lutz, Tim and Nikki Rayl, Chris and Erin Resner, and Don and Sue Schepps.
