New slide at the Lady Lorenz Hotel

Matt Grigsby
Matt Grigsby was born and raised in Redding but has often felt he should have been born in Italy. By day he's a computer analyst toiling for the public good and by night he searches airline websites for great travel deals. His interests include books, movies, prowling thrift shops for treasure and tricking his friends into cooking for him. One day he hopes to complete his quest in finding the best gelato shop in Italy.

They actually have a slide? Never knew one existed at a hotel. I only thought those happened in Las Vegas

    What…like a new fire escape?… or a construction refuse system? Looks interesting… but I hope it's not a permanent fixture–sort of tacky.

It's actually for construction trash and I think it's only temporary while the work is completed.

However, if it was a permanent feature, I'd be sliding down that thing every day.

I bet that would elicit more thrills than any of the rides at a theme park!

It's fun while it lasts, but the dismount is a bitch.

Yes, it is for demo material and is only temporary while the renovation is taking place.
