John Reit’s BBQ Boot Camp

Be comfortable at home with your barbeque grill and smoke cooker during this hands-on class. The class covers: type of charcoal, fire control, meat preparation and food handling safety using a Weber Kettle, BBQ, water smoker and more. Recipes for award winning pork ribs, delicious tri-tip, yard bird and south slow cooking specialties will be provided.**

Fee: $11 and $39 for materials fee paid to instructor for food, supplies and handouts.

**Upon registration, directions to the West Redding class location and a list of student supplies will be provided. BBQ Boot Camp t-shirts will be available for purchase.

    This class would be good for the beginner, like me. The fee is worth it, especially if you like the taste of barbecued foods.

    • You are right, James, but this class is also good for accomplished cooks. I'm a pretty fair cook, but I have a heck of a time grilling. John Reit is a pro, and I've taken his class once, but I'm about due for a refresher course. It's a fun and delicious class.
