The 13th Annual Downtown Park-N-Shine jump starts the Kool April Nites weekend this Thursday at Market Street Promenade. The Downtown Park-N-Shine allows spectators to get up close and personal with 125 of the coolest cruisers, hot rods and classics on display. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Car owners are advised to arrive early as this popular event fills up fast. Free registration begins at 8 a.m., judging starts at 11 and the event concludes with the awards presentation at 3 p.m. Awards will be presented for best vehicles in the following categories: GM, Mopar, truck, mini, sports, rat rod and orphan. Best interior and paint job also will be acknowledged as well as the People’s Choice and Best of Show awards.
