“The Usual Suspects” Performing at Simpson University

Leader Jeff Jones created the Usual Suspects as a means to showcase the talents of the north state contemporary jazz musicians. They will perform unique arrangements of familiar jazz standards and classics.

Members a of the band are: Jeff Jones, leader/alto sax/flute, Mitch Hawley, tenor sax, Dave Short, Baritone sax/bass clarinet, Dick Morris, trumpet/flugel, Paul Senn, trumpet/flugel, Joe Larsen,Trombone, Mark Gouveia, trombone.

PLUS: the “star-studded” rhythm section of bassist Bruce Calin, guitarist Bernie Baker, Drummer Dwayne Corbin, and pianists John Gonsalves and Cleveland Boney.
