Pre-Registration Needed for Redding City Ballet Nutcracker Auditions

Redding City Ballet has brought the world’s most beloved ballet, “The Nutcracker,” to the Redding community for the past 15 years. The company invites dancers to join in a world celebration of traditions and storytelling. It’s an excellent opportunity for children of all ages to experience the thrill of being on stage while being exposed to a professional performance atmosphere.

Friday, September 9th – auditions for children ages 5 to 11 years old. Pre-registration is required and must be submitted by Friday, August 26th. Please contact info@reddingcityballet.org or submit an audition form in person on August 26, 3:30 – 6:30 at Redding Ballet Academie.

Saturday, September 10th – Open auditions. No pre-registration required. Studio opens at 9:30 a.m. and auditions will begin at 10:30 a.m.

We are currently looking for 14 girls for Angels, 6 boys/girls for Mice, 6 Soldiers, 10 Party Girls, 10 Party Boys, and 14 Peppermints. The number of openings and parts available are subject to change.
