Shasta Senior Nutrition Programs (SSNP) is celebrating Older Americans Month to show appreciation and support for the senior population that continues to enrich and strengthen our communities. SSNP will be hosting a barbecue lunch on Tuesday, May 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 100 Mercy Oaks Drive in Redding. The lunch will include live music, door prizes and a special drawing for the opportunity to win free lunches. A suggested donation of $3 is welcomed from seniors 60 years of age and older. General admission is $6.50.
