What: Shasta College Sponsors Hands Across California
When: Sunday (April 17), 2 – 2:30 p.m.
Where: Shasta College’s Health Sciences & University Center, at Tehama and Market streets
On April 17, 2011, Californians across the state will join hands to demonstrate their support for the nation’s largest higher education system – community colleges. In Redding, people will come together at the north end of the Downtown Promenade (formerly known as the downtown mall) area at Shasta College’s Health Sciences & University Center, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Northstate residents are encouraged to show their support for higher education and for the students at Shasta College by attending and participating in this important event.
Through the Hands Across California campaign, Shasta College will create a permanent scholarship endowment for its students.
