What: Run For the Wild, a fundraiser for Shasta Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation
When: April 2; Register by Saturday to avoid a late fee

Cost: Adults $15, Kids 18 and under $8.

This event is held the first Saturday in April every year. The run goes through beautiful Anderson River Park, right along the Sacramento River.
At 8:30 am there is a 2-Mile Rabbit Run/Walk and also a 5-mile Run. This year the 5-mile run is a single lap around the park. Then at 10 am there is a Hatchling Quarter-Mile Run (for preschoolers through 5th grade).
