Multi-Cultural Festival Celebrates Diversity Saturday

What: The 13th Annual Multi-Cultural Heritage Festival, presented by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office
When: Saturday (March 5), 10:30 am – 5:45 pm; grand march at 10:30 am
Where: Mount Shasta Mall, Redding

Performers include the Jefferson Pipers, Jack Potter Jr. California Indian Style Dancers, Shasta Scottish Country Dancers and Scottish Country Band, German-American Edelweiss Singers, Paradise Gardens Hawaiian Dancers, BANC (Bayanihan Association of Northern California) Folk Lorica Festival, Shasta College Japanese Dancers, Anderson Teen Dance Group, Redding School of the Arts Dancers and Chris McCandless.

Also represented will be: Sons of Italy, Skogen Nordic, Shasta Celtic Society, P.A.C.E.D, Public Health, Vietnam Veterans Post 357, Islamic Center, Martin Luther King Center and an outreach coordinator/community interpreter.
