Shasta College’s Arts, Communications, and Social Sciences Division presents a fully-staged production of Offenbach’s magical opera, The Tales of Hoffmann. The opera tells the story of the poet Hoffmann, who reminisces about the three great loves of his life and how he was foiled by the evil presence of his nemesis. From a German beer hall to an exotic salon on Venice’s Grand Canal, we follow Hoffmann in his futile pursuit of romance.
