What: Christmas Promise to Keep – local harp society sponsors special benefit concert

The Redding Chapter of the American Harp Society (AHS) will be sponsoring a concert, “A Christmas Promise to Keep,” featuring the Ars Angelorum Harp Ensemble with over twenty harpists on Wednesday, December 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the Cascade Theatre in Redding. Special guests include violinist Terrie Baune (concert master of North State Symphony), Bruce Belton (clarinet), Roxanne Belton (flute), Cherie Gans (viola), Scott Putnam (cello), Laura Rubinstein-Salzedo (violin) and members of the Riverfront Playhouse.   1. What a beautiful sounding and looking performance. The readings with harp and string music-mix was very beautifully arranged. The sight of 18 harps and nicely dressed harpists with the Christmas decorations made this a very nice Christmas event.

    Maybe this could be an annual event.
