Help for Parents, Caregivers of Youth with Behavior Issues

What: Shasta County Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug invites the public to learn about therapeutic behavioral services

Dec 8, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Where: Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Department, Administrative Conference Room, 2640 Breslauer Way, Redding

behavioral-healthThe Public is invited to a community meeting to learn more about Therapeutic Behavioral Services for Medi-Cal beneficiaries. There will be two community meetings:

“Therapeutic Behavioral Services provide one-on-one support to parents, caregivers, foster parents, and group home staff, to help children and youth replace inappropriate behavior with more suitable behavior,” said Doug Shelton, MFT, Clinical Division Chief for Youth.

Topics that will be discussed include what Therapeutic Behavioral Services are, who is eligible, where services can be provided, and what community partners are providing these services.
