2 Workshops: Online Marketing, Constant Contact

What: Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers two workshops: Best Practices in Online Marketing and Getting Started with “Constant Contact”

When: Thursday (Nov. 4), Best Practices in Online Marketing will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and Getting Started with “Constant Contact” is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Shasta College Health Sciences & University Center building (1400 Market Street), in room 8220

Cost: $25 per person and $40 per person for both

sbdcThe Small Business Development Center at Shasta College and College of the Siskiyous (SBDC) and the Greater Redding Chamber of Commerce present a workshop entitled Best Practices in Online Marketing. This workshop is for those who want better results from online marketing efforts. It’s an informative (educational) seminar will teach you how to build and leverage your “Internet Marketing Network.” There will be discussion on the latest tips, trends, techniques, and proven marketing strategies for: building your email contact lists and designing effective email campaigns; developing real sales leads and business contacts from your Social Media pages; and measuring benefits and return (ROI) for your investment (time, energy) in online marketing

The second workshop is Getting Started with “Constant Contact.”  Do you have a general knowledge of email marketing concepts? This workshop will focus on “getting started” with Constant Contact’s do-it-yourself email communication service. It will also provide specific (product) training and there will be discussion on Constant Contact’s Online Survey and Event Marketing products. You’ll learn how to set up account options, add signup boxes to your website and emails, load a list, build a campaign, brand your email to match websites and logos. You’ll also learn how to develop content, get your email opened, and track results!

Both workshops are offered on Thursday, November 4, 2010, in the Shasta College Health Sciences & University Center building (1400 Market Street), in room 8220. Best Practices in Online Marketing will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and Getting Started with “Constant Contact” is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The cost to attend one workshop is $25 per person and $40 per person for both.
