What: Appointments Training Workshop for Women

When: Wednesday (May 19), 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

California Women Lead – North State Chapter invites you to attend this FREE workshop on how to become more involved in your community by applying for and getting appointed to a local board or commission.

Light appetizers and beverages will be provided.

This free workshop will guide you through the appointments process by:
1. Making you aware of the board and commission openings in your area;
2. Helping you assess your strengths through a Personal Inventory worksheet;
3. Guiding you through the application process.

Mary Stegall, Councilmember, Redding City Council and past Mayor
Michele Goedert, Commissioner, City of Redding Planning Commission
Connie Strohmayer, retired Redding City Clerk
Dana Shigley, Anderson City Manager
