The Shasta County Arts Council is greatly pleased to partner with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus and their first visit to Redding. They’ll be singing their hearts out at the historic Cascade Theatre! Some 90 chorus members, conducted by Dr. Kathleen McGuire, will bring the sounds of pop, classical and Broadway tunes to this statewide California Freedom Tour, Redding being the first stop. One of the members grew up in Redding, attended Shasta High, and will be singing: Bud Dillon. This event is a fundraiser for Shasta County Arts Council and Old City Hall. Proceeds will be shared with two local lgbt non-profits. Tickets on sale now!
