Wintry Blast Hits North State

Cold temperatures and the chance of rain or snow should make for a blustery weekend in Northern California, with below-freezing temps expected in some areas of the valley.

Redding could see light snow on Sunday as the temperatures drop, and it’ll be heavier in the mountains, though this storm doesn’t seem to have a lot of moisture in it.

  • You can be an “angel” this Christmas season and help a needy child. The Angel Tree is covered with paper angels that have information about children’s wish list, sizes, etc. Take one and deliver the gift(s) to the Salvation Army for delivery. For more info, call 222-2207.
