• Downtown Eatery (1344 Market Street): Wednesday (Nov. 4), Redding’s Phil Paige is hosting a songwriter’s showcase (Paige and Shireen Amini are featured performers); Thursday (Nov. 5), Mo-Ped and Rezurex , $10 advance, $15 at the door (Mo-Ped features members of the dynamic groups New Monsoon and ALO; Rezurex is the headlining rock group from L.A.); Saturday (Nov. 7), $5, The Buttercream Gang , afrobeat from San Francisco.
