Nationally known artist Suchitra Bhosle is offering a Plein Aire Landscape Workshop in the Redding area. The class is limited to 15 participants.
Suchitra Bhosle has immersed herself in learning, experimenting and developing her skills and style by studying the works of 19th century avant-garde artists such as John Singer Sargent, Anders Zorn, Joaquin Sorolla, Nicolai Fechin and Jules Bastein-Lepage. Suchitra has studied with Jeremy Lipking, Richard Schmid, Scott Christiansen and Sherrie McGraw among others.
Suchitra has been represented at galleries in Santa Fe , Palo Alto and Sacramento and currently has pieces accepted by Oil Painters of America 18th Annual National Juried Competition and The American Portrait Society International Portrait Competition. She recently won Best of Show at the North Valley Art League’s National Competition. In January, Southwest Art magazine featured her in “10 Artists to Watch.”
