Pastels on the Plaza – Arcata
Local artists are sponsored by area businesses to create pastel works of art on the sidewalks around the Arcata Plaza. Rain or shine the art must go on. All proceeds of the event benefit Northcoast Children’s Services Programs.

Manton Apple Festival
Every October, come ‘celebrate the apple’ at the Manton Apple Festival. Dunk for apples, ride the Lassen Lumber Train, and enjoy breakfast, games, clowns, crafts, live music, great food, an apple pie contest and more. Proceeds support community projects and scholarships.

Rails to Trails Festival – Susanville
Chili cook-off & salsa contest, arts and crafts fair, handcar rides, live music by the Tri-Tones, drum circle, Sparkles the Clown, raffle drawing, dinner catered by Fat Boys Deli, Trail Presentation, evening entertainment by the Young Country Band.
