Did you see the articles about the scientific study of rhesus monkeys put on a “permanent diet” and how they lived longer with fewer diseases?
Scientists say a 30 percent reduction in calorie intake cut the monkeys’ risk of dying from cancer, heart disease and diabetes by more than two-thirds. Not only did they avoid disease, but the monkeys on the reduced-calorie diet also looked younger.
Scientists say humans can see similar benefits by figuring out how many calories would make a healthy lifestyle, then cutting that by 10 to 30 percent.
I expect to be dead by morning.

- Fun With Craigslist: In the “barter” section of the Redding Craigslist, we find this: i need t-shirts maid. This seems extreme. I’ve got a lot of T-shirts, but not so many that I can’t care for them myself.
